Mary Alice Reporting –
Saturday morning residents are invited to the Dover Public Library for a unique event that is going into its fourth year.
The “Living Library” allows people to connect with others and learn about their life and experiences.
Adult Programming Specialist Sherrel Rieger says attendees will have the chance to sit down with all or some of the 10 local presenters.
“Some of them are retired teachers, some of them are current teachers, some of them are doing adventures things, and some of them are coaches, musicians, artist, and we have a young man who’s a spelling bee champion. There’s just a little bit of everything for everybody who might want to sit down and talk to these folks.”
She notes that by talking with the person, it allows the two talking to get to know one another and to gain insight into personal experiences.
