The Dover Public Library is getting ready to host their annual book sale on Saturday, August 9th.

Director Jim Gill says this is a great opportunity for all to grab books, DVD’s, audiobooks, and more.

“The bottom line is that the library purchases so many materials over the course of a year that something has to go and we get so many donations from the public that we work with the friends of the library to create this massive book sale.”

The 7am to 7pm sale is a fundraiser to support the Dover Public Library.

“The great thing about this is that it’s well organized. The items are not individually priced. They are by donations, so you just take what you want and we’ll have volunteers on hand there and you just make a donation.”

A special preview night for members of the Friends of the Library will be on Friday, August 8th from 5 to 6:30pm.
