Doyle Hayes Harding, age 81, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Hennis Care Centre in Dover, Ohio.

Doyle was born on February 18, 1942, in Dennison, Ohio, the son of the late Burris H. and Mary Iona (Galbraith) Harding.

In 1960, Doyle graduated from Gnadenhutten High School.  He was employed at Associated Grocers (Tusco) and was a warehouse supervisor and truck driver for Nickles Bakery. Doyle was a member of the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene. He and wife enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to every state in the US.

Doyle is survived by his wife Iris “Joyce” (Hawkins) Harding, who survives of the home. Also surviving are their children Doyle “Doug” (Arvilla) Harding of Uhrichsville and Karen (Roy) Brooks of Gainsville, Georgia; brother-in-law Timothy (Cathy) Hawkins of Minerva; daughter-in-law Annette Harding; grandchildren Thomas (Amber) Harding, Elizabeth (Todd) Ellwood, Michelle Harding, Austin Brooks, Wyatt and Garrett Harding; great grandchildren Emilee and Clara Ellwood, Coleson Brooks and Bingham, Watson and Fitz Harding.

In addition to his parents, Doyle is preceded in death by his son Kirk Harding and a brother Robert W. Harding.

Funeral services for Doyle will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene, with the Pastor Brett Warkentine and Thomas Harding officiating.  Burial will follow at Gnadenhutten Clay Union Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 11 to 1 (two hours prior to services) on Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rush Community Church of the Nazarene.
