Mary Alice Reporting –

On Wednesday, at 12:27 pm, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call referencing a single-vehicle accident with injury on County Road 10.

Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was determined that a 23-year-old female, from Baltic, was traveling north on CR 10 when she fell asleep and went left of center.

The vehicle continued off the left side of the road over an embankment, hitting a runoff ditch causing the vehicle to go air born into a tree. The car came to rest on the driver’s side on a pasture fence.

The single occupant escaped through the rear hatch with the help of a pedestrian. She was then transported to Mercy Hospital for the extent of her injuries.

Assisting at the scene was Baltic Fire, Coshocton County EMS and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
