Eileen R. (Hootman) Conley, 91, of Newcomerstown, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in Newcomerstown. She was born on April 19, 1932, to the late George W. and Dorothy L. (Oaklief) Hootman.Eileen was a 1950 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and went on to work at the Lad and Lassie Shop, Lenzo Studio, and Kurz-Kasch in Newcomerstown. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Newcomerstown.
On August 17, 1986, she married Gordon Richard Conley, who passed away on March 12, 2012. She is survived by one brother, Harold “Gene” Hootman of Illinois. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma (John) West. Per Eileen’s wishes, a private burial will take place at Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield.
