Eleven Indian Valley High School students were recognized at the Scholastic Art Award Ceremony at Kent State University.
The ceremony on January 28th celebrated the students’ artistic talent.
Olivia Bamfield received the Gold Key Award and earned an honorable mention. In addition, Bamfield was selected as an American Vision Award Nominee, an honor given to five students from each region annually.
Ashlynn Bolon, Julianne Cassidy, Lily Johnson, and Cas Wright were recognized with Silver Key Awards. Bolon and Wright also received four and six honorable mentions, respectively.
The list of awardees also included Kaylen Donohoe, Aubrey Elliot, Ava Fisher, Christin Gray, Haylie Menefee, and Melody Sprowl, earning four, two, one, one, six, and one honorable mention(s), respectively.
In total, Indian Valley High School’s art student received 35 awards.
