Elmer L. “Bug” Stolicny III, age 57, of New Philadelphia, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Born November 6, 1967, in Canton, he was the son of the late Elmer L. Stolicny Jr. and Georgia (Bebout) Conner. Bug attended school in New Philadelphia and was employed in shipping and receiving in the fabrics business. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, riding dirt bikes, watching football—he was a tremendous Steelers fan —and collecting sports cards.
Bug is survived by his son, Garret Hershberger; his sister, Bobbi Jo (David) Conner; his brother, Terry L. (Diana) Wildman; his nieces and nephews, including Devon (Hayley) Conner and Chelsie (Roman) Bays; his great-nieces and great-nephews; and his former wife, Lori Bragg.
Besides his parents, Bug was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry L. and Gerald L. Wildman.
