Ernest Flavious Devericks, 82, of Kimbolton, passed away on June 18, 2023, in Newark. He was born July 23, 1940, in Doddridge Co., WV to the late Willard Brooks and Zelma Iris (Dennison) Devericks.
Ernest served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 to 1961. He retired from Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant. He liked riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, hunting, and working on his 55’ Chevy.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Roberta (Durben) Dunkle; his three children, Jeff, Audrey and Alyna; his stepchildren, Mike (Nichole), Danny (Lee Ann) and Robin; and special friends Gerald and Paula Kuthy and sons, Mark and Carla Durben. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy; three brothers; and one sister. “Bless your heart”, “I love you guys.”
Services for Ernest will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Addy Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Ridge Cemetery.
