Carroll County Farm Bureau Show Stock Seminar

The Carroll County Farm Bureau will hold the Show Stock Seminar on Saturday, April 20th at the Carrollton Livestock Auction Barn from 10 am – 3 pm. This event is free and open to any youth exhibitor planning to show chickens, sheep, hogs, goats and cattle at their county fair. Speakers will present live demonstrations on how to get the best out of your livestock project. Topics including showmanship, grooming, feeding, animal management and what to expect at the fair will all be covered at this event. The event will start at 10 am with a welcome. Following that each species will have a separate session focused on the basic knowledge of that species. Lunch will be available for purchase. During the lunch break, Quality Assurance stations will be available. Following lunch, each species’s session will continue in the afternoon with showmanship, grooming and nutrition.
