“Life is a Fast Journey” Program Dover Public Library
Carmela Roush, local business owner, will present a series titled “Life is a Fast Journey”. These programs will be held on three consecutive Tuesdays, August 18 and 25 and September 1 beginning at 6:30 PM in the community room of the Dover Public Library, located at 525 N. Walnut Street. The three programs are designed to give hope and a positive attitude when facing life’s unexpected ups and downs. Participants will receive helpful handouts.
After Carmela Roush’s husband Tom passed, she found herself dealing with the reality of living on her own. As a result of her experiences, she was motivated to prepare this series of educational workshops in which she shares the information that allowed her to move forward in life.
On August 18, the topic will be “Being organized can reduce stress.” Roush will talk about the benefits of organizing important documents, such as death and birth certificates, bank accounts, wills and passwords. During the second session on August 25, Roush will talk about “How to adjust when you are on your own.” Roush will give helpful suggestions and resources about how to adapt to and enjoy this new phase of life. The final session on September 1 is aptly called “You are going to need some tools…things you never thought of!”
