The Wilderness Center The State of Conservation 3-Part Series

The Wilderness Center is proud to announce The State of Conservation, a new three-part series offering the public an inside look at how The Wilderness Center’s conservation experts are monitoring, protecting, and restoring the natural environments of Ohio. The series, offered both in-person and virtually, will explore the health of local ecosystems and the vital work being done to preserve biodiversity across the region. Each session will include engaging presentations, opportunities for audience Q&A, and actionable insights into the future of conservation at The Wilderness Center. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how science-based strategies and community partnerships are helping safeguard the natural world.

This kickoff session introduces The Wilderness Center’s’ comprehensive ecological monitoring program, newly implemented this year. Attendees will discover the cutting-edge methods and technologies used to collect baseline data on TWC’s lands and waters, providing the foundation for long-term environmental tracking and informed decision-making.
