Tuscarawas County Senior Center Lunch and Learn

2026 is a special year as America celebrates its 250th birthday!  Ohio and Tuscarawas County have been preparing for this celebration for a number of years. The State of Ohio’s 250 planning commission created monthly themes for the year to help celebrate. Local Historian Kim Jurkovic will be at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center on Thursday, August  20 at 12:15 to take a look back at the area’s 250 years of history using each monthly theme and Tuscarawas County’s contributions to the topics to tell the story of the history of our nation. This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month. All programs of this series will be held at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover
