Hispanic Heritage Month continues at the Dover Library Thursday night.
The latest in a series of programs is “A Tale of Two Immigrants” scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Library Director Jim Gill says Trang Moreland of Vietnam and Edelia Sosa Rivas of Mexico will share the stories of their journeys to the United States.
The Dover Library is working with the Tuscarawas County YMCA and Fourth and Faith in Dover for a series of programs exploring Hispanic heritage.
Gill says one of those – a “tiendas” tour of local shops – showed the public’s interest.
Other events include a Fashions of Guatemala show Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Fourth and Faith.
A program on Guatemala history and culture will take place Thursday, October 10th, at Fourth and Faith.
The Tuscarawas County YMCA will conclude the series by hosting a Fiesta Latina with food, music and more on Saturday, October 12th.
