A local disposal event will be held for farmers needing to get rid of pesticides.
The Ohio Department of Agriculture is sponsoring three sites in counties of Auglaize, Holmes, and Clinton.
In Millersburg, the August 15th collection will be at the Farmers Produce Auction, located at 7701 OH 241, from 9am to 3pm.
The pesticide collection and disposal services are free of charge, but only farm chemicals will be accepted. Paint, antifreeze, solvents, and household or non-farm pesticides will not be accepted.
The other locations will be August 14th at Auglaize County Fairgrounds and in Clinton County at the Former Nutrien Site on August 20th.
