Mary Alice Reporting –

Two vehicles were involved in a Wednesday crash the resulted in serious injuries and a fatality.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol notes that they responded to County Road 10, in Carroll County, at 7:05pm.

They discovered that a Ford Escape was traveling north bound when it went left of center, says New Philadelphia Post Sgt. Clinton Armstrong.

“Was operated by Dakota Kincaid, age 26, of East Rochester, and there was a 2020 Chrysler Voyager, operated by Patrick Snow, age 71, of Malvern, was traveling southbound. The Ford Escape traveled left of center and struck the Voyager, the Escape went off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned. The Chrysler traveled to a final rest off the right side of the road.”

Kincaid was transported with serious injuries, and it was noted that he was not wearing a safety belt.

Sgt. Armstrong says that Snow was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased. He had been wearing a seatbelt at the time.

The report indicates that alcohol is a suspected factor regarding Kincaid.
