The four Thursdays in September highlights films in a double feature at the Quaker Cinema.

The Tuscarawas Valley Film Festival wraps up this Thursday, September 28th, starting at 6:30pm.

Beforehand, movie tickets holders can also enjoy Park Street Pizza and Hoodletown Brewery beginning at 5:30pm.

Quaker Cinema Owner Mike Ernest says the final two films are Jules and Not Going Quietly.

“A film that I’m anxious to see and show the community is Not Going Quietly. It’s heartwarming but also probably difficult to watch. It’s about an individual who suffers from ALS and this was voted the top film at the Cleveland Film Festival last year.”

The other movie is about a resident of a small western Pennsylvania town and a UFO crash landing in his backyard.

For more details, including trailers of the films, or to purchase tickets, go to www.tuscfilm.org.

All proceeds from the Tuscarawas Valley Film Festival supports the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio.
