The suspect in a shooting incident in Uhrichsville is facing possible prison time after being indicted on felony charges for allegedly shooting into an occupied vehicle.
20-year-old Mekhi Carlton is scheduled to be arraigned in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court later this month for felonious assault and discharging a firearm on or near a prohibited premises.
Uhrichsville police did not provide many details but said there were no injuries in the May 5th shooting on the north side of the city. Carlton was jail initially but has been free on his own recognizance since his preliminary hearing in Southern District Court.
