Four individuals were transported from two separate accidents, both occurring on Pleasant Valley Road.

On Satruday, the first tones were about 4:15pm, regarding a two-vehicle head-on collision that occurred in front of Pleasant Valley United Methodist, says Dennison Fire Chief Dave McConnell.

“Upon arrival we requested an additional EMS unit from Smith and Uhrichsville, and as a result, we transported two juvenile females to a trauma center in Canton at Aultman”

Almost three hours later, the second crash, at the intersection Pleasant Valley and Mt. Bethel Road, involved a motorcycle with two riders not wearing helmets.

“They just didn’t negotiate that turn and they got into the pea gravel and ended up clear over into the woods, wrecked the motorcycle, and they were both ejected off the motorcycle. We landed two helicopters and flew both of them up to Akron. Once went o Akron City and one went to Akron General”

Units that assisted at one or both included Uhrichsville, Smith Ambulance, Tusky EMS, MedFlight and Metro.
