Frances Opphile, 89, of Port Washington, Ohio, passed away on June 9, 2023, at Riverside Manor and Rehab Center in Newcomerstown, OH. She was born August 12, 1933, in Port Washington, OH to the late Walter “Roy” Kenney and Artha (King) Kenney.
In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, she previously worked at RCA, Kurz-Kasch, and most notably Baker’s IGA. On January 5, 1951, she married Lloyd Opphile who passed away in 2013.
Frances is survived by her son David L. Opphile of Dennison; grandchildren, Brad, Mike, Shelley, Alan, Sasha, Alyssa, Hunter, and Shane; 13 great-grandchild; two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her three daughters, Susan Kay, Debbie and Tracy; one great-grandchild; her siblings, Bob, Cramer, Shirley, Tommy, Marylin, and Marion.
Services for Frances will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Addy Funeral Home with Steve Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
