Voters will have the opportunity to vote on a Franklin Township renewal levy.
The $1 million levy is used for fire equipment maintenance, upgrades, and purchases.
Strasburg Fire Chief Steven Laskey expressed his feelings on the levy, noting the township has a smaller budget.
“Our budget is very limited as many small town budgets are for the fire service, so it is a very vital levy. It can continue improving our services and considering the safety and future of the village and township residents.”
Chief Laskey notes the levy has continually been supported in past elections.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th and polls will open at 6:30 am.
