Murder mystery intrigue events are coming in March but the deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, February 24th.
The Friends of the Tuscarawas County Public Library host the popular fundraiser, which invites attendees to a meal and solve and interactive mystery.
President Candy Beaber says this year’s theme involves Michael Angelino, a local recluse.
“A wildly eccentric modern artist. He’s announced he’s auctioning off his latest work and donating the proceeds to a local nonprofit. However, he’s not telling who gets the money until the night of the auction and unveiling. Join us at this gala event and come paint the town red, or maybe paint the town dead.”
There are town chances to be part the dinner, Saturday, March 1st at 6:30pm or March 2nd at 1pm.
“And we have a fabulous menu. Roast beef, baked chicken, parsley potatoes, green beans, Johnny Marzetti, broccoli salad, seven-layer salad, dinner rolls, coffee, tea, water, and your choice of four different desserts.”
Tickets are $50 and are available at the main library in New Philadelphia. Raffle basket tickets will be cash only, three for $5.
