$1.3 million is coming to the Tuscarawas County Engineer’s Office to create more space.

The funding is from the One-Time Strategic Community Investment Fund for projects that would benefit local communities and residents for many years.

The announcement from Senator Al Landis notes that the local engineer’s office will use the money to add an updated extension to the existing building to allow for additional workrooms and offices.

Others to be awarded dollars was Wooster Community Hospital, The Wilds Giraffe Barn and Innovative Guest Lodging, Cambridge YMCA, and Shreve Wastewater Treatment Plant.
