Nick McWilliams reporting – With further Mosquito pools coming back positive in Tuscarawas County, further spraying will commence this week.

The latest positive pools, located in Wayne Township and the village of Zoar, were recently identified by the Ohio Department of Health who notified the Tuscarawas County Health Department.

Spraying has been scheduled for Wednesday in the township and Thursday for the village.

Weather permitting, spraying is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. each night.

Residents with respiratory conditions or those with other related medical conditions should stay indoors. The spray will dissipate after a short period.

To be added to the do-not-spray-list, dial (330) 343-5550.

For most people, West Nile infection will lead to no symptoms, but more severe cases can cause fever, headache, neck stiffness, disorientation, or even tremors, convulsions, coma, or paralysis in the most severe cases.
