Gloria Myrtle Wigert, age 90, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  Born July 14, 1931, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter Eugene and Bessie (Setvin) Gray.

Gloria was a Twin City resident for much of her life who was employed for many years by the Hall Glove Factory where she had been a seamstress. She will be remembered as a gifted painter, especially for her skilled artistry in doing custom work on cars and motorcycles. Gloria was a longtime member of the former New Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church.

On November 25, 1971, Gloria married Wallace W. Wigert with whom she enjoyed over twenty years of marriage until his passing on March 31, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Jr., Alwood “Butch”, and Robert Gray, in addition to her parents and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria “Jean” (Samuel) Weaver; grandson, Adrian (Meghan) Jones; granddaughter, Crystal (Sean) Doyle; sister, Maxine (Herb) Bower; brother, Minnard Gray; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Pastor Chester Hitchcock will officiate her funeral at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison with visitation for one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. She will be interred beside her beloved husband in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
