Mary Alice Reporting –

A Gnadenhutten Police Officer serving an arrest warrant was able to locate multiple drugs and charges are expected.

The warrant was served Friday evening, on the north end of the village, for a man wanted on felony charges and permission, from a female, was given to the officer to search the house.

Chief Dennis Moody says during the search, items were located.

“Suspected methamphetamine in several different places, in several different rooms. Pretty good amount of paraphernalia, pipes, scales, things like that. We found right around 3.5 ounces of marijuana and we seized nearly 2 ounces of [suspected] methamphetamine.”

The drugs will be sent to BCI for official confirmation.

The man, whose name is not being released, is expected to be charged with drug and paraphernalia possession.
