A New Philadelphia murder suspect’s case has been bound over to the Tuscarawas County Grand Jury.
26-year-old Paul W. Kinlaw of Fayetteville, North Carolina, is accused of shooting and killing 42-year-old Christopher Damron in the latter’s New Philadelphia home on September 20th.
Police say the two men had a physical altercation that led to the fatal shooting. Kinlaw faces initial charges of murder and felonious assault.
The Grand Jury will review his case for a potential indictment after Kinlaw this week waived a preliminary hearing.
Magistrate Christine Weimer continued his bail at 500-thousand dollars. Kinlaw remains in the Tuscarawas County Jail.
