While Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital and Ohio’s Hospice received some of this year’s larger grants through the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation, a host of youth-oriented groups benefited as well.

Indian Valley schools, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and the RTY Park Place Teen Center are just some of the grant recipients.

Foundation executive director Scott Robinson says that’s on top of grants to charities including the United Way, TUFF Bags and the Salvation Army.

“That does a lot of great work for many fine organizations and certainly makes everyone feel good about the efforts of the Community Foundation.”

Between foundation grants and grants from other funds, the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation has awarded 950-thousand dollars to more than 40 organizations this year.
