The Harrison County Board of Commissioners approved a resource-sharing agreement at a recent meeting.
Director of the Harrison County Department of Job and Family Services Deb Knight discussed an agreement between her agency and Belmont County DJFS.
The agreement would allow for both of the counties to share a coordinator for their Family and Children First Council.
The agreement says that the coordinator would spend 75% of their time working with Belmont County and 25% with Harrison County. The coordinator’s salary would amount to over $85,000, which would be split between the counties in a 75-25 percent ratio.
All commissioners present voted in favor.
