Funding was released to spur economic growth and Harrison County’s portion will be used for Country Road 21 improvements.

The Ohio Department of Development released more than $680,000 for community enhancement project, and it’s through the Roadwork Development Grant program.

Harrison County Board of Commissioners will get just over $420,000 to resurface, level, and repair 2.58 miles of CR 21.

The project will overall improve access to Tappan and Clendening Lakes, the Fort Steuben Scout Reservation, area campgrounds, and small businesses.
