Hayes E. Wisman Jr., age 62, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, died Sunday morning, April 30, 2023, in Claymont Health and Rehabilitation Center at Uhrichsville.

He was born October 17, 1960, in Canton, Ohio and was the son of Eunice Mae (Felgenhauer) Wisman of Mineral City, OH and the late Hayes E. Wisman Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, and a sister-in-law, Angela Wisman.

He was a United States Army Veteran who served his country from 1978-1980.  He was a longtime Cleveland Indians (Guardians) fan who was very oriented to nature and the outdoors.  Hayes lived in a “70’s State of Mind”.  He always had an affinity for the music, clothing, and general mood of that time. He was a loving son and brother who will be missed by his family and friends. 

In addition to his mother Eunice Wisman, he is survived by a brother, Dell Wisman of Sherrodsville, OH, three sisters Mrs. Tammy (Randy) Burgess and Mrs. Tina (Tracy) Nussbaum, both of New Philadelphia, OH, and Debbie Loudermilk of Dennison, OH, and a large family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services with military honors will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman, Ohio with Rev. Milo Baker officiating.  No public calling hours are scheduled, but the family will observe a private visitation at the Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home in Sherrodsville, Ohio.  In response to the compassionate care, he received over the years, contributions in Hayes’ memory may be made to Ember Home Complete Care, P.O.
