Helen Lambros, 92, of Dover, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia, Ohio, after a long period of declining health. Born October 2, 1930, in Athens, Greece, she was a daughter of the late Harlambos and Aspasia (Andonioa) Mendrinos.

Helen was a talented seamstress who spent many years plying her trade aboard cruise ships. On April 10, 1970, she married Harry Lambros with whom she began her new life as a naturalized citizen of the United States. She never lost her passion for world travel, and together with Harry, she continued to visit many countries until his passing on April 21, 1998. A member of Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Massillon, Ohio, she is survived by her sister, Anna, and nephew, Nicholas, who reside in Greece.

Reverend Father Spyridon Kehayes will officiate an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Tuesday, February 28, at Dover Burial Park where she will be interred beside her beloved husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, 364 First St. S.E., Massillon, OH  44646.
