High School Football Preview Night to be Held in August

The 1st Annual Tuscarawas County High School Football Preview Night will be held on Tuesday, August 1^st at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, located at 425 Prospect Street in Dover.

Jim Gill, the Director of the Dover Public Library, says the event was inspired by Stark County’s football preview nights and he wanted Tuscarawas County to have similar interactions with the community.

“The event is sponsored by the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame and this is an off year, since inductions are every two years and we wanted to do something to engage the community.”

Head football coaches from all nine Tuscarawas County schools will be given the opportunity to share insight on their team and the upcoming season.

Doors will open at 4:45 PM, the meal will begin at 5:15 PM and the program will begin at 6:30 PM.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Dover Public Library or online at www.eventbrite.com.
