The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum and the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum present “Steam to Victory: Homefront to War Front,” a World War II-themed event on June 19th and 20th.
This event will be at both locations, with one-hour WWII Troop Train rides only on Saturday departing from the Dennison Depot. Ticket prices for the train ride start at $40.
Taylur Cunningham from the Dennison Depot says the two-day event will give people the opportunity to experience two sides of history.
“Kind of seeing both sides of WWII. You get to see the war front out at Age of Steam with their ‘Steam to Victory’ event, and you can see the home front at the Depot. We will be kind of bringing Dreamsville, USA, to life. All kinds of aspects about staying true to our history and letting you experience it. Not just hear the stories, but to walk through them yourself.”
Gates open at 10 a.m. and events will run until 5 p.m. The cost to get in starts at $5. To learn more, visit ageofsteamroundhouse.org
