The fifth annual Hope Lives Fundraiser, Concert and Poker Run rolls into New Philadelphia this Saturday at Hog Heaven.
The free event raises awareness about suicide and mental health while supporting prevention, education and outreach programs in local schools, throughout the community, and at SpringVale Health Centers.

Riley says the day will feature live music starting at 4pm, food, and the poker run — capped off with an evening concert by Disco Inferno.
Saturday’s poker run begins at SpringVale RapidCare on Garland Drive SW, with registration from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $20 for single riders or $35 for doubles, and all participants receive a free Hope Lives T-shirt and a pulled-pork meal upon arrival at Hog Heaven.
Riley says the Hope Lives event was created by The Torqued Brotherhood, a local motorcycle group that turned personal loss into a mission of hope after losing a close friend to suicide.
It’s grown into a community-wide effort to honor those lost, support those affected, and connect people with resources and hope.
