Nick McWilliams reporting – A $200,000 donation was presented by the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Auxiliary during their yearly luncheon Monday.

The donation, given directly to the hospital, came from various fundraising activities throughout the year.

The auxiliary has the primary mission of supporting the hospital through charitable donations which are used to purchase upgraded equipment.

Since first forming in 1949, the auxiliary has given over $5.2 million to the hospital, with over $2.1 million given in the last decade.

Fundraisers include the Warther’s Christmas Tree Festival at Ernest Warther Museum.
