Gwen Rummell Reporting –

The Tuscarawas County Health Department has announced the return of their infection prevention bags.

The Health Department, through a grant from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, will be providing infection prevention bags to those who request them.

The Health Department notes that the bags are free, but are asking for the public to only take one per person.

“This bag includes 2 COVID-19 home test kits, sanitizing wipes, face masks, travel-sized Kleenex packs, [a] digital thermometer, a 4-ounce hand sanitizer, antibacterial hand wipes, and additional prevention information.”

Positive tests can be reported by calling 330-343-5555.

The Tuscarawas County Health Department is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm, Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
