Nick McWilliams reporting – The local YMCA invites golfers of all ages to the 22nd Annual Jack Marsh Memorial Golf Outing on August 17th.
Registration and breakfast starts at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 at the Oak Shadows Golf Club. Lunch will be provided at the turn, and a steak dinner starts at 3:30 p.m. with dine-in or carryout.
Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day.
The 18-hole scramble features teams of four, who will also compete in an orange ball game, with prizes and games at each hole, and a hole-in-one contest.
Proceeds are used to benefit the YMCA by supplementing programs throughout the year for children and families.
Cost is $400 per team for foursomes, and the winning team will earn that same amount.

Sponsorships are available for interested individuals and businesses, which can be handled online or in-person at the Y.
