James Emerson Hidey, Sr. 81, of Uhrichsville passed away on July 29, 2022, at Union Hospital. Born July 3, 1941, he was a son of the late Dean Emerson and Florence (Cotter) Hidey. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Jeremy and Jason Hidey, and sisters, Irene Dixson and Shelly Gamache. He is survived by his sister, Marlene (Frank) Titus, and numerous nieces and nephews.
James attended Conotton Valley and served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a mechanic for various auto shops. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated
