Janette Fay (Blankenship) Clark, 76 of West Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at her home.
Janette was born August 31,1949 in Accoville, WV to the late Frank and Ruby (Tincher) Blankenship. Janette graduated from Buckeye Career Center in 2009 and went on to earn her Master’s degree. She was a pastry chef at Salt Fork Lodge for over 20 years and went on to work at Cambridge Hospital in the food department. She was a very handy lady; she loved remodeling and refurbishing things. She loved to bake bread and feed her family and loved to travel and take trips.
Janette is survived by her children Ruby Blankenship of West Lafayette, Charles Clark Jr. of Belton, TX, and Shawn (Natasha) Clark of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Amanda Fechuch (Amos Sheaffer), Amber Clark, William Clark; her great-grandchildren, Jauslyne Tufford (Kirk McDonald), Gage Fechuch, Colten Fechuch, Zoey Tufford (Gavin Elwood), Moira Tufford, Harleigh Tufford, Anniston Tufford and many more; two beloved great-great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Jo Blankenship.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Adam Tufford; and brother, Dorsal Ray Blankenship.
Per her wishes, a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
