Janice E. Border, 74, of Gnadenhutten, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at New Dawn Nursing Home in Dover.
She was born in Dover on February 21, 1947, to the late Willard and Viola (Peterman) Border.
She was a member of the Church of God in Dover.
She enjoyed cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Stephen) Wallace, and son Marvin (Becky) Border both of Dover; 3 grandchildren, Brandon Border and Luke and Natalie Wallace; and family friend Paul Swegheimer, who she considered as another son.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother Marvin.
Family graveside services will be held at Dover Burial Park at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home.
