Janice L. McClintock, age 71, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in Dover’s Park Village Health Care Center.
Born November 4, 1950, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Max and Charlotte Mowrer Shear. Janice graduated from New Philadelphia High School, and, on October 16, 1971, married David B. McClintock Sr. The couple had three children and were married nearly 39 years prior to David’s passing on October 2, 2010.
Janice was a homemaker and attended NewPointe Community Church, Dover. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching old westerns as well as soap operas and game shows on TV.
Janice will be dearly missed by her children, Kimberly (Troy Haverland) Sisk of Phoenix, Arizona Melanie (Joey) Day of Dover, and David B. McClintock Jr. of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Ashley Kelso, Zakari (Ryan) Monnot, Trent (Bre) and Tyrel Miller, Haley Day and Brynlynn Cozart; her great-granddaughter, Shaye Monnot; her siblings, Faye (Len) Stingel of New Philadelphia and Richard (Sue) Shear of Dalzel, South Carolina; her brother-in-law, Larry McClintock of Dover; and her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, David, Janice was preceded in death by her sisters, Carol Limbaugh and Dianne Schuld.
