Jeffery A. “Jeff” Moore, 63, of New Philadelphia, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, in his home.
Jeff was an employee of Handy & Harman in Dover for 20 years and also was employed at Dalton Woodworks Inc. for 5 years until disability forced his retirement in 2005.
Born June 19, 1959, in Dover, Ohio, he was the son of Peggy (Shull) Moore of New Philadelphia and the late James E. Moore. In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany N. Moore; granddaughter, Annastasia Stewart and his companion, Lee Ann.
Jeff graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1977. He enjoyed fishing and was a knife collector.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Brittany Moore; a very special grandson, Graison Stewart; his sister, Roxanne (Michael) Gibson; brother, James E. Moore Jr.; nieces and nephews, Allie Moore, Tyler Tope, and Ashley Gibson. He will also be sadly missed by his feline companion (cat) Puma.
