Jeffery L. Trotter, age 75, born on June 21, 1949, in Dover, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. He was the son of the late George and Irene (Komaromy) Trotter.
After many years of dedicated service as a truck driver, Jeffery entered retirement with a storied career that included driving for renowned personalities such as David Copperfield and Tammy Wynette. This experience was not only a testament to his skill but also a reflection of his adventurous spirit.
In his downtime, Jeffery found joy in the thrill of gambling and the chance of winning the lottery, passions that added excitement to his daily life. He was a regular presence at the local Moose, where he cherished visiting with friends and sharing stories. His friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand made him a beloved figure in his community. Whether it was assisting neighbors with yard work or simply offering good company, Jeffery exemplified kindness in action.
He leaves behind six brothers and sisters; Linda Crallie, James Trotter, Anita Insley, Cheryl Jackson, Timothy Trotter, and George Trotter; his niece and caregiver, Melissa Lacreta; and Melissa’s beloved dog, Cash. He also leaves behind several other nieces and nephews.
