Jennie L. McCulloch, 70, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. Born July 18, 1951 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Lucy J. (DiGenova) Cramlet.
Jennie was a lifelong Tuscarawas County resident and graduate of St. Joseph High School in Dover. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she had a long career with over 30 years of employment in the same factory, beginning with Great Plains and continuing while it was Stone Container, finally retiring from Smurfit-Stone in 2010.
On April 15, 1989, Jennie married William E. McCulloch who survives her at their home where they enjoyed bird watching together and caring for their precious dachshunds. Jennie and Bill also enjoyed bowling together in leagues for many years, as well as their membership in the New Philadelphia Elks where she was the first female Elk. Most of all, Jennie cherished the time that she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jennie will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her husband, Bill; children, Sharon Sefert, Tracie (Russell) Angel, Jackie (Brian) Loibl, and Billie Jo (Ron) Gordon; son-in-law, Jason Milburn; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with another expected; and her faithful canine companions, Axel and Winnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucy; daughter, Amanda Milburn; and beloved pets, Winston, Charlie, Zoey, and Abby .
According to Jennie’s wishes, a private family service is planned. She will be interred at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia, following cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, OH 44663 to reflect her love for all of her pets through the years.
