It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Lee Norman, 83. He peacefully departed in his home on June 27th, 2024. Jerry was born on August 10th, 1940, to Luther and Emma Norman in Birmingham, Ohio. Jerry graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1957. On July 29th, 1960, he married Shirley Mae Whyde. Jerry had a long-dedicated career, 40 years at Clows Pipe Corporation as a foreman and 8 years serving as an Oxford township trustee. He loved everything racing from go carts, to horses, to stock cars.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 64 years, Shirley, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He was cherished by his sons Rodney (Theresa) Norman and Randy (Carole Ann) Norman along with his grandchildren Jerrod (Kayla) Norman, Allison Norman, Carley Norman, and Cameron Norman. Also survived by sister-in-laws Delores Taylor and Norma Norman, and brother-in-law Jim Whyde.

He was preceded by his parents Luther and Emma Norman, brother Bob Norman and sister Darlene Harden.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Coshocton. Visitation will be prior to the service on Monday, from 11 to 1 at Addy Funeral Home.
