Joan Kollar, age 92, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, January 5, 2023, while in Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital.
Born on May 5, 1930, in New Philadelphia Joan was the daughter of the late John and Ada May Everett Kollar.
She was a 1948 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and was employed by The Timken Roller Bearing Company, Marsh Wall Products, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Job and Family Services prior to her retirement.
She was a lifelong member of the Emmanual Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed playing the piano and violin and listening to Classical Music.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue Kollar.
A graveside service will be led by Pastor Rob Eller on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10 AM in the East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
