JoAnn Day 66, of Mineral City, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at Country Lawn Nursing Home in Navarre. Born April 11, 1957, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Hershel and Velma (Price) Collinsworth.
JoAnn enjoyed music, visits to the ocean and spending time with her family. She was known to have an awesome sense of humor.
She is survived by 3 children David Petrey of Mineral City, Kristen (Robert) Garnier of Bolivar, Thomas (Fiance’ Katlynn) Day of Navarre, 5 grandchildren Dallas, Brandon. Jace, Amber, Elliott and a sister Brenda (Mark) Walter of Mineral City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Steven Collinsworth and a sister Lois Harig.
In keeping with her wish’s cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements.
