JoAnna Evelyn Herron-Edgar, 67, of Uhrichsville, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Born April 18, 1955, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she was a daughter of the late James Clarence Herron and Christine (Hampton) Herron-Zavasky

A Twin City resident for most of her life, JoAnna was a 1973 graduate of Claymont High School where she had proudly been one of the Claymont Marching 100. She was also a gifted vocalist who earned many medals in her high school years and had been a member of the Ohio All-State Youth Choir. She used her talents to bring praise and glory to God through her singing ministry, having traveled with Evangelist Vasha Piermont for many years. She loved the Lord and felt blessed to be His instrument in this world.

JoAnna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved caring for her family and had enjoyed being a beautician, as well. On October 1, 1988, she married Bruce L. Edgar who survives her. She is also survived by her children, Christopher (Heather) Andrews, Nicole Andrews, and AdriAnna (BreeAnna Carr) Edgar; grandchildren, Trent, Tyler, Bethany, and Aeden; and a wide circle of friends, including Dan and Cindi Perron who were very dear to her.

According to JoAnna’s wishes, Pastor Dixie Hendricks will officiate her memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, at Perrysville United Methodist Church, 88 Amsterdam Rd. S.E., Scio, OH  43988. Memorial contributions may be made to the International Fellowship of Jews for Jesus.
