John O. “Bud” Pershing, age 30, of Dover (Parral), passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
Born March 4, 1992, in Dover, he was the son of Randy O. (Aileen) Pershing of Parral and Diane (Dave Cowles) Hayes of New Philadelphia. John attended Dover High School and Buckeye Career Center, graduating in 2010. He was employed as a welder.
John enjoyed the outdoors, martial arts, playing the drums, and video games.
He will be dearly missed by his parents; his girlfriend, Brooklyn Noel; his step-sister, Alyssa Zaulda; his aunts and uncles, Mary Cooley, Deborah (David) Hickman, Pete Hayes, Cave, Kevin (Karina), Mike and Roger (Christine) Pershing; his cousins; and his friends.
John was preceded in death by his infant sister, Mary Jo Pershing.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 29, at 12:30 p.m., in Dover Burial Park, with Pastor Jason Rissler of Sr. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg officiating.
