Juanita Jean Welch, 86, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 27, 2023, at her home on Post Boy Road. She was surrounded by family. Juanita was born in Newcomerstown to the late John Henry and Laura Elizabeth (Tice) Rothenstein.
Juanita worked at Groovfold Fabricators for many years in addition to being a homemaker and a farmer. She loved playing euchre online and even received a lifetime ban from Yahoo games for cheating. Juanita enjoyed travel, bird watching, gardening and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On July 21, 1956 she married Rollin R. Welch, who survives. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Denise) Welch and David Welch, both of Newcomerstown; two daughters, Kathy Welch of Newcomerstown and Melissa Welch (Tom) Berry of Texas City, TX; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
